Water Solutions Mission to China

China is experiencing the most rapid growth in demand for environmental products and services then anywhere in the world. While much of this demand is met by China’s domestic industry, there are specific areas of opportunity for world-class Australian firms.

To leverage this opportunity, Austrade and other government and industry partners are planning a water mission to Jiangsu Province and Beijing in late November 2017 to align with the Taihu Basin 2.0 conference.

Partners, dates and other information will be confirmed over the next several weeks. However, Austrade are opening expressions of interest now.

India Business Mission, November 2017

You can now express your interest in participating in November's business mission to India. 

The mission, led by Minister for Investment and Trade Martin Hamilton-Smith, will run from 6-12 November and include Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bangalore. The major business streams will include:
•  Water and environment 
•  Higher education and skills training  
•  Defence and advanced manufacturing  
•  Premium food and wine.

India Water Week 2017

India Water Week (IWW) 2017 will be held from 10 - 14 October 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

India Water Week is an annual forum where the Ministry of Water Resources, RD&GR, and Government of lndia discusses, talks, strategizes with eminent stakeholders through seminars, exhibitions and sessions to build public awareness, to get support to implement key strategies for conservation, preservation and optimum use of available water. This is the fifth event of its kind with the theme "Water and Energy for Inclusive Growth" focusing on improving role of water use across all sectors.

IFAT India 2017

India's leading trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling will be held from 26th - 28th of September 2017. IFAT India brings together and inspires solution providers, practitioners and decision-makers to share knowledge and experience that pertains to proven and innovative environmental technologies. Visit Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai and meet industry professionals from across the globe under one roof.

Delegation to the Water Technology and Environment Control Exhibition and Conference (WATEC) in Israel, 12th-14th of September

 The Water Technology and Environment Control Exhibition and Conference (WATEC) in Israel will take place on the 12th-14th of September. 

 WATEC 2017 is expected to attract 10,000 stakeholders from 90 countries seeking Israeli solutions for water issues.

 This event is a leading opportunity for water professionals, stake holders and innovators from around the globe to share their experiences regarding current and future trends in the vibrant water industry. 

 WATEC is a valuable chance to increase industry engagement between our two countries over the pressing issue of effective water management for Australian companies and policy-makers. Israeli water technologies that are already helping Australians include TaKaDu, Amiad, Netafim, Mapal and IDE Technologies.

Expressions of interest are now open for September's business mission to Europe.

The mission, led by Minister for Investment and Trade Martin Hamilton-Smith, will run from 10-17 September and include Germany, The Netherlands, France (Bretagne and Paris) and the United Kingdom. 

The major business streams will include:
Innovation, research and education 
Advanced manufacturing 
Health, medical research, biotech and medtech 
Agribusiness, food processing and wine 
Renewable energy
