Andy commenced as CEO in August 2011 following the position of Industry Development Manager at the Water Industry Alliance. Prior to working for the Water Industry Alliance, Andy worked for 8 years for Optimatics, a member company of the Water Industry Alliance, where he managed the company’s business development in Europe, including working with 6 of the 10 largest water utilities in the UK.

Andy’s experience as a water engineer, business development and sales, project management and software development has provided a well rounded understanding of the needs of the water industry both nationally and internationally and how to help members business grow. In this role he continues to draw on his strong network of water industry professionals in Australia and around the world.

ANNA AUBREY
Communications Manager

Anna joined the Water Industry Alliance in January 2008 as Membership and Communications Manager and has recently returned to the WIA after maternity leave, now working part-time as the Communications Manager focusing on strategy, communications, media, sponsorship and new membership enquiries.

Anna has worked in communications, marketing and PR for ten years in the tourism, agribusiness, health and welfare sectors.

Anna works on Tuesday & Wednesdays.

MELANIE WINTER
Events & Member Services Manager

Melanie joined the Water Industry Alliance in August 2008 as the Events Administration Assistant. Now in the role of Events and Member Services Manager, she manages regular industry events and other member services including the Annual Awards, website & member portal, weekly eNews, and other services for the Water Industry Alliance. Previous roles have been included administration and event coordination in the recreation and arts industries.
