February Members Night 2015 - 17th Feb 15

First Members Night of 2015 with special guest John Ringham, Chief Executive of SA Water.

We are pleased to invite members to join us for the first Members Night of the year. This event will be held following the formal proceedings of day 1 of the Goyder Institute for Water Research's Annual Conference being held on 17 and 18 February 2015.

Members are invited to join us at Adelaide University to hear from John Ringham about the current and future directions of SA Water and what this means for WIA members. John's presentation will be followed by networking over drinks until 6pm.

John has over 40 years' experience in the water industry, having held numerous senior management positions with United Kingdom company North West Water. He is experienced in water resourcing, water supply and distribution, capital planning, change management and international bidding.

John joined SA Water as Head of Operations in November 2000, and later took on the role of Chief Operating Officer with overall responsibility for water supply and wastewater service delivery, including asset management and capital works delivery. In December 2010 John was appointed Chief Executive of SA Water. John is also Deputy Chair of the Water Services Association of Australia and Deputy Chair of WaterAid Australia.

Goyder Conference Dinner

WIA members who attend the Members Night are also invited to join us for the Goyder Conference Dinner at the Adelaide Rowing Club.

Directly after the Members Night, WIA members and Goyder conference participants will have the opportunity to take a cruise on the iconic Popeye down the River Torrens to the Adelaide Rowing Club for a gourmet BBQ.
