Leading Australian water industry companies are recognised annually for excellence in technology and expertise at the Water Industry Alliance’s Smart Water Awards. In its 15th year, the Awards program recognises and celebrates Alliance members for their leading-edge expertise and innovation.
The exciting initiatives being developed by those shaping the water industry are awarded across six categories:

The Minister’s Award for Excellence will recognise one of the nominees of the Innovation, Alliancing and Environmental Impact categories that has demonstrated overall excellence. This may be as a result of its contribution to sustainable water management, the development and progression of the industry, and or business.
One of the great strengths of the Australian water industry is the true leaders that have made a major contri¬bution to both their own organisation’s success, and have also offered guidance and support to others, through their leadership, actions or implementation of significant water-related programs that have benefited the industry, community and environment. These individuals are recognised through the Leadership Award, and can be nominated by their peers.
The 16th annual Smart Water Awards ceremony and luncheon will be held in 2019. To enquire about the event or becoming a sponsor please contact Jessica Burgess.
