Writing a successful grant

The Water Industry Alliance, in partnership with Regional Development Adelaide, delivered their first workshop on how to write a successful grant, tender and business case.

With an increasing need for businesses to seek funding for their ideas from grants, businesses are required to have the skills required to prepare successful bids.

The workshop, held on Friday 19th October, provided attendees with an overview of the key elements to successful bids. It also provided an insight into how grants are assessed and ran through various grants opportunities available to businesses. Members took away a greater understanding of the key elements of a grant and business case, how to plan and prepare for grants and importantly how to prepare a winning "pitch"

Feedback from attendees was positive with one attendee commenting that "they found the information very informative and helpful for future applications”. Due to the positive response to the session, the Alliance intends to hold another workshop in early 2019.
