WIA welcomes Kathryn Nicholas

The Water Industry Alliance is pleased to welcome Kathryn Nicholas as the new Marketing and Communications Manager. Kathryn will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies, materials and activities to fulfil the WIA’s goals and targets.

Kathryn has extensive experience in corporate communications having worked in the water, government, and media industries.

“We are very excited to have Kathryn join our team,” WIA CEO Rachel Barratt said.

“Her expertise in corporate communications, editing and publishing, social media and stakeholder relations will assist us in developing marketing opportunities, furthering collaboration with our members and boosting the critical role we play in raising awareness of the Australian water industry’s capabilities.”

Kathryn joins WIA from the Goyder Institute for Water Research and the International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM). She holds a Bachelor of Media from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney.
