Counting and accounting for Water: Australian water measurement and its implications

The science of measuring stocks and flows of water has improved markedly, as has the capacity to account for the impacts of change over time. Still, many controversies persist related to how and why we measure water.

The national forum brings together international and national experts on water measurement. Building on earlier forums, the 2019 event will again provide valuable exposure to all parts of the water sector with urban, rural and environmental management issues addressed.

In addition to keynote presentations from international UN luminaries, national experts from both the Murray-Darling Basin Authority and some of Australia’s most innovative water utilities will present the latest thinking on water measurement and its relationship to better resource management.

The forum takes place on 28 March 2019.
