Water Industry Alliance CEO, Rachel Barratt, has announced that she will be leaving the Alliance to return to her role leading consulting firm Consilius Pty Ltd. Rachel will step down from the role as Chief Executive Officer following the AGM on 20th November 2018.

Water Industry Alliance Chair, Robran Cock, said, "Since 2016 Rachel has played a significant role in the success of the Alliance.  Through her leadership the team has delivered great events for members. Rachel has also been a tireless campaigner for the promotion and growth of the South Australian water industry and has worked closely with government and industry to connect and grow our Alliance for benefit of all. Also unseen to most members, Rachel set about improving the governance and business operations of the Alliance which has led us to this point where we are financially stronger and have a greater level of corporate responsibility than in many recent years.

"Rachel’s skill, passion and commitment to the Alliance will be sorely missed and the board wishes her all the best."

Robran is working closely with the Board to manage the transition and an announcement regarding filling the role will be made in the coming weeks.
