Key Appointment in Desalination for PB

Leading planning, environment and infrastructure company PB (Parsons Brinckerhoff) has appointed Jim Jensen as National Technical Executive — Desalination.

Jim comes to Adelaide from PB’s San Diego office, where he previously held the role of Technical Manager. He has more than 25 years of technical, business development and management experience.

Jim has extensive experience in desalination and advanced water treatment, water resources planning and development, groundwater modelling, Class I injection well systems, aquifer storage and recovery well systems, wastewater disposal and environmental and contamination assessments.

He led the procurement design for the San Diego Country Water Authority’s proposed 190 megalitre per day desalination project, and was part of the owner’s engineer team for the 95 megalitre per day Tampa Bay Seawater desalination project.

Jim has managed numerous complex water resources projects and is experienced in feasibility and planning studies, site selection, design, technical specifications, construction management, and sophisticated analysis and quality control.
PB’s Regional Director Central West, David Cruickshanks-Boyd, said Jim’s appointment will allow PB to continue to play a key role in some of the nation’s major water projects.
